App ideas

From smart homes to sensor networks: real infrastructure apps, sandboxed and secure. For the scenarios behind them, see Use cases.

Category What it does
Smart home and automation Run Home Assistant and similar tools, so users can automate their homes without buying single-purpose devices.
VPN and residential proxy Deliver privacy and access services from real residential IPs in many countries, subject to availability and applicable local restrictions.
Connectivity and relay Route traffic, extend networks and bridge devices at the edge. Real infrastructure, not simulated.
Media and IPTV Stream regional content from edge nodes. Geo-specific media delivery without centralized servers.
Weather, IoT and sensors Collect and process local environment data. Each node is a real-world sensor point.
Blockchain verification Run lightweight checker and validator nodes for blockchain networks. Verification, not mining.
AI and local compute Run inference and compute workloads close to where the data is.

Hardware access

Apps can use USB and device interfaces under controlled permissions. This opens up receivers, sensors, radios and other peripherals, for example ADS-B receivers for flight tracking or AIS receivers for maritime tracking.
